Chowning R. "Reggie" Hall, Jr. of East Norriton PA passed away at the Hospital of University of Pennsylvania with his family by his side on October 5, 2018 at age 82. Reggie was born May 12, 1936 in Heathsville, VA, and was the son of Henrietta (Nelson) and Chowning R. Hall, Sr. Reggie is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Rosemary (Pickrell) Hall.

Reggie was the loving father of Kevin Hall and wife Marianne of Kalamazoo MI, Casey Johnson of East Norriton, PA and Jennifer Dugan and husband John of Collegeville PA. He was the cherished grandfather of Kathleen Grismer and husband Dane of Raleigh NC, Kevin Hall, Jr., Haley Johnson, Kaitlyn Dugan, Colin Dugan and the great grandfather of John and Luke Grismer. Reggie was preceded in death by his brother, Charles Hall and is survived by his sister, Lucy Kennedy of Birmingham AL and brother, William (Bill) Hall of Front Royal VA.

Reggie was a proud alumnus of Randolph-Macon Academy in Front Royal, VA. He later attended the Medical College of Virginia School of Pharmacy and went on to complete a graduate degree in Pathology. He later received his PhD in Pharmacology from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. In the early years of his career, he worked for the Medical Examiner's Office in Richmond, VA and Philadelphia, PA as well as the Philadelphia Police Department Crime Lab. He later enjoyed a 30-year tenure as a pharmacist at Jeanes Hospital in the Fox Chase neighborhood of Philadelphia. He had many varied interests, which included home improvement projects, country music and a love of poetry and prose.

Relatives and friends are invited to Reggie's Life Celebration at Boyd-Horrox-Givnish, 200 W. Germantown Pike on Sunday, October 14th from 5-7 pm and again, Monday, October 15th from 10-11 am. All are invited to a Memorial Service for Reggie at 11 am and interment is private.
